Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Annexin A5 (ANXA5) is a member of the annexin family of proteins, which are characterized by their ability to bind to phospholipids in a calcium-dependent manner. This protein plays a crucial role in various cellular processes, including cell signaling, membrane repair, and the regulation of apoptosis. Research has shown that ANXA5 is involved in the formation of apoptotic bodies and the recognition of these bodies by phagocytic cells, making it essential for the clearance of dying cells. Additionally, ANXA5 has emerged as a significant biomarker in studies of cardiovascular diseases, cancer, and neurodegenerative disorders. Its ability to modulate cell membrane dynamics has also attracted attention in therapeutic contexts, particularly for drug delivery systems and targeted therapies. Recombining ANXA5 protein for research purposes allows scientists to explore its structural properties, functional roles, and potential applications in medicine. By generating recombinant ANXA5, researchers aim to elucidate the mechanisms underlying its biological activities and to develop innovative strategies for disease prevention and treatment. Hence, the study of ANXA5 not only enhances our understanding of fundamental cellular processes but also paves the way for novel therapeutic interventions in various pathological conditions.
