简介
PDPK1 protein is the core kinase of the AGC family and can phosphorylate and activate various downstream kinases, including PKB/AKT1, RPS6KB1, PRKACA, PRKCD, SGK1, PAK1 and PKN. It transduces insulin signals and regulates cellular processes such as proliferation, survival, and nutrient absorption. PDPK1 Protein, Human (sf9, His) is the recombinant human-derived PDPK1 protein, expressed by sf9 insect cells , with N-8*His labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PDPK1, or 3-phosphoinositide-dependent protein kinase-1, is a pivotal regulator in various cellular processes, especially in the context of the phosphoinositide signaling pathway. This kinase primarily activates AGC (PKA, PKG, and PKC) family kinases, thereby influencing cell growth, survival, and metabolism. Dysregulation of PDPK1 activity has been implicated in various diseases, including cancer and metabolic disorders, making it a critical target for therapeutic research. With advances in protein engineering techniques, the recombinant expression of PDPK1 has gained attention, enabling detailed investigation of its structure, function, and regulatory mechanisms. Understanding the biophysical properties and enzymatic activities of recombinant PDPK1 can shed light on its role in signal transduction and contribute to the development of innovative strategies for treatment interventions. Thus, the study of recombinant PDPK1 not only enhances our fundamental understanding of cellular signaling but also paves the way for potential clinical applications in disease management.
