Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Eukaryotic translation initiation factor 3 (EIF3) plays a pivotal role in the regulation of protein synthesis, with EIF3A being a key component of the EIF3 complex. Research on recombinant EIF3A protein has gained significant attention due to its involvement in various cellular processes, including the initiation of translation, cell proliferation, and differentiation. Abnormal expression or dysfunction of EIF3A has been linked to several diseases, notably various types of cancer, where it may contribute to oncogenic processes through its effects on translation regulation. The structure and function of EIF3A are critical for understanding its role in translation initiation; thus, producing recombinant EIF3A protein provides valuable insights into its molecular mechanisms. Furthermore, recombinant EIF3A can be utilized in high-throughput screening assays to discover small molecule inhibitors that may serve as potential therapeutic agents. Through purification and characterization of the recombinant protein, researchers aim to elucidate the functional domains and interaction partners of EIF3A, enhancing our understanding of its biological significance. Overall, the investigation of recombinant EIF3A protein is essential for advancing the therapeutic targeting of translational dysregulation in cancer and other diseases.
