简介
The FGFR-2 α IIIc protein is a tyrosine protein kinase receptor for fibroblast growth factor and is critical for embryonic development, regulating proliferation, differentiation, and apoptosis. Its importance is evident in embryonic patterning, trophoblast function, limb bud development, lung morphogenesis, osteogenesis, and skin development. FGFR-2 beta (IIIb) Protein, Human (HEK293, His) is the recombinant human-derived FGFR-2 beta IIIb protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-6*His labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Fibroblast Growth Factor Receptor 2 (FGFR2) is a key player in various biological processes, including cell growth, differentiation, and tissue development. Among its splice variants, FGFR2 beta (IIIb) has garnered significant interest due to its unique expression patterns and involvement in developmental biology and oncogenesis. Research has demonstrated that FGFR2 beta (IIIb) is predominantly expressed in epithelial tissues, implicating it in processes such as wound healing and cancer progression. Aberrant signaling through FGFR2 has been associated with a range of malignancies, making it a potential therapeutic target for cancer treatment. Advances in recombinant protein technologies have enabled the production of FGFR2 beta (IIIb) protein, facilitating detailed studies on its structural and functional properties. Understanding the interactions and signaling pathways associated with FGFR2 beta (IIIb) can provide insights into its role in disease mechanisms, paving the way for the development of innovative targeted therapies. This research is critical not only for delineating the biological functions of FGFR2 beta (IIIb) but also for exploring its potential as a biomarker for cancer diagnosis and prognosis. As such, the study of FGFR2 beta (IIIb) recombinant protein is a promising frontier in both cancer research and therapeutic development.
