Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Interleukin 27 (IL-27) is a member of the interleukin-12 family, primarily produced by antigen-presenting cells, including dendritic cells and macrophages. It plays a pivotal role in regulating immune responses, particularly in promoting T helper 1 (Th1) cell differentiation and enhancing the cytotoxic activity of CD8+ T cells. Research has increasingly focused on the therapeutic potential of IL-27 in various diseases, including autoimmune disorders, chronic infections, and cancer. The IL-27 recombinant protein has garnered attention for its ability to modulate inflammatory responses and promote immune tolerance. Studies have shown that IL-27 can suppress the proliferation of effector T cells while fostering the differentiation of regulatory T cells, thereby offering a dual approach to controlling immune responses. The recombinant form of IL-27 has been evaluated in preclinical models and early-phase clinical trials, demonstrating efficacy in reducing tumor growth and enhancing anti-tumor immunity. However, the complexity of its signaling pathways and the potential for context-dependent effects necessitate further investigation to fully elucidate its therapeutic applications and safety profile. Overall, the study of IL-27 recombinant protein is a promising avenue for developing novel immunotherapies aimed at harnessing the immune system to combat various pathological conditions.
