Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
The study of Emm5 recombinant protein emerges from the need to understand the pathogenicity and immune responses associated with Group A Streptococcus (GAS), specifically the Emm5 strain, which is known for its unique surface properties and virulence factors. GAS infections can lead to a range of diseases, from mild throat infections to severe conditions such as rheumatic fever and necrotizing fasciitis. Despite the clinical significance, the molecular mechanisms underlying Emm5's virulence remain poorly understood. Recombinant proteins provide powerful tools for dissecting these mechanisms, allowing researchers to investigate the structure, function, and immunogenicity of Emm5 in vitro and in vivo. By expressing the Emm5 protein in a suitable system, scientists can analyze its interactions with host immune cells and decipher how it evades immune detection or contributes to inflammation. This research aims to pave the way for the development of novel therapeutic strategies or vaccines that target Emm5, thereby reducing the incidence and severity of GAS infections. Ultimately, a comprehensive understanding of Emm5 recombinant protein will enhance our insight into bacterial pathogenesis and foster advancements in public health.
