Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Translationally Controlled Tumor Protein (TCTP) is a highly conserved eukaryotic protein that plays a crucial role in various cellular processes, including cell growth, proliferation, and survival. Its involvement in tumorigenesis and cancer progression has made TCTP a significant focus of biomedical research. Initially recognized for its function in translation regulation, TCTP has also been implicated in responses to stress, immune regulation, and apoptosis, further emphasizing its multifaceted roles in cellular physiology. Given its overexpression in several malignancies and its involvement in pathways that promote tumor survival, TCTP has emerged as a potential therapeutic target. Researchers are investigating the mechanisms by which TCTP contributes to tumor development and resistance to therapy, such as its interactions with specific signaling pathways and molecular partners. The recombinant expression of TCTP allows for detailed studies on its structure-function relationships and the development of TCTP-based diagnostic and therapeutic approaches. Overall, the ongoing research into TCTP recombinant proteins aims to unravel their roles in cancer biology and exploit these insights to enhance clinical outcomes for cancer patients.
