Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PLA2G4C, also known as Group IV cytosolic phospholipase A2, is a key enzyme involved in the metabolism of phospholipids and the release of fatty acids, particularly arachidonic acid, which is a precursor for various bioactive lipids involved in inflammatory responses and cell signaling. The study of PLA2G4C is gaining attention due to its potential implications in various pathological conditions, including cancer, cardiovascular diseases, and inflammatory disorders. Understanding the structure and function of PLA2G4C can provide insights into its regulatory mechanisms and interactions with other cellular components. Additionally, the development of recombinant PLA2G4C protein enables researchers to explore its biochemical properties, enzyme kinetics, and effects on cellular pathways in a controlled environment. This research could lead to the identification of novel therapeutic targets for diseases associated with dysregulated lipid metabolism, as well as to the design of inhibitors that could modulate its activity. Overall, the investigation of PLA2G4C and its recombinant protein form holds significant promise for advancing our understanding of lipid biology and its implications in health and disease.
