Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
C13orf8, also known as FLJ14536, is a gene located on chromosome 13 that has garnered attention in recent years due to its potential role in various biological processes and disease states. Although its specific function remains largely elusive, studies suggest that C13orf8 may be involved in cellular proliferation and apoptosis, making it a candidate for further investigation in cancer research. The gene's expression patterns indicate that it may play a role in specific tissues and developmental stages, hinting at its importance in normal physiology as well. Researchers have turned their focus to the production of recombinant C13orf8 protein, as this enables detailed studies into its structure and function. By generating the protein in vitro, scientists can explore its interactions with other cellular components and its effects on signaling pathways. Additionally, recombinant C13orf8 can be utilized in assays to identify potential therapeutic targets or biomarkers for diseases associated with its dysregulation. Understanding C13orf8 at the protein level may reveal novel insights into its biological roles and contribute to our knowledge of related pathologies, including cancer and other proliferative disorders. Given the increasing evidence linking this gene to critical cellular functions, further exploration of recombinant C13orf8 presents a promising avenue for research that could potentially lead to innovative therapeutic strategies.
