Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
RAD51AP1 (RAD51 Associated Protein 1) is a critical player in the homologous recombination repair (HRR) pathway, which is vital for maintaining genome stability. Dysfunction in this pathway is often linked to various cancers and genetic disorders. RAD51AP1 is known to enhance the activity of RAD51, a key protein in HRR, by promoting the formation of nucleoprotein filaments that facilitate the search for homologous sequences during DNA repair. Studies have indicated that RAD51AP1 not only supports RAD51-mediated DNA repair but also plays a role in the DNA damage response pathway, highlighting its potential importance in cellular responses to genotoxic stress. Recent research has focused on elucidating the molecular mechanisms governing RAD51AP1’s function and its interaction with other proteins within the recombination machinery. Furthermore, the modulation of RAD51AP1 expression and activity may have therapeutic implications for cancers characterized by HRR deficiencies, such as those with BRCA1/2 mutations. Understanding the role of RAD51AP1 could pave the way for novel cancer treatments that exploit vulnerabilities in the DNA repair pathways of cancer cells. As research continues, RAD51AP1 remains a promising target for further investigation in the context of genome maintenance and cancer biology.
