稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
OV16 is a recombinant protein derived from the ovine (sheep) adenovirus, which has garnered attention in the field of veterinary medicine and immunology. With a focus on its potential applications in vaccine development, OV16 is of particular interest for its ability to elicit immune responses against various pathogens in livestock. Research has shown that adenoviruses can serve as effective vectors for delivering antigens, owing to their robust innate immunogenicity and ability to stimulate both humoral and cellular immune responses. The OV16 protein, when expressed as a recombinant entity, has been investigated for its role in enhancing immunity against viral infections in sheep and other ruminants. Studies have aimed to optimize its expression systems, enhance its stability, and evaluate its immunogenic properties through various formulations. The understanding of OV16's molecular structure and immunogenic profile is crucial to developing effective vaccines that can improve animal health and productivity. Furthermore, this research contributes to the broader field of transgenic biotechnology, highlighting the importance of recombinant proteins in disease control and prevention strategies in agriculture, ultimately aiming to ensure food security and reduce the reliance on antibiotics. As the global demand for livestock products continues to rise, the OV16 recombinant protein represents a promising avenue for advancing the health and productivity of livestock through innovative immunological approaches.
