稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Proprotein convertase subtilisin/kexin type 1 (PCSK1) is a key enzyme involved in the post-translational processing of prohormones, which are precursors to various bioactive peptides, including insulin and other neuropeptides. The importance of PCSK1 in metabolic regulation has garnered significant interest in recent years, particularly in relation to obesity and type 2 diabetes, conditions that have reached epidemic proportions globally. Mutations in the PCSK1 gene have been linked to severe obesity and endocrine disorders, making it a crucial target for research aimed at understanding the mechanisms of energy homeostasis and metabolic dysfunction. The production of recombinant PCSK1 protein enables researchers to study its structure, functional activity, and interactions with other proteins in detail. Understanding the precise roles and mechanisms of PCSK1 can lead to potential therapeutic strategies for obesity and metabolic diseases. Given its central role in the activation of hormone precursors, PCSK1 is also being explored for its potential as a biomarker in various metabolic disorders. Overall, the study of recombinant PCSK1 protein not only deepens our comprehension of metabolic pathways but also opens avenues for innovative approaches to treat related health conditions.
