Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
SLU7 is a crucial protein involved in mRNA splicing, playing a significant role in the regulation of gene expression. It is part of the spliceosome complex, which is responsible for the removal of introns from pre-mRNA transcripts, thus facilitating the production of mature mRNA. The understanding of SLU7 has evolved significantly, particularly in the context of its interactions with other spliceosomal components and its implications in various cellular processes. Dysregulation of splicing mechanisms, including those involving SLU7, has been implicated in several diseases, including cancer and genetic disorders. Recently, researchers have focused on characterizing SLU7's structure and function through various biochemical and cellular approaches, including the expression of recombinant SLU7 proteins. By creating and studying SLU7 in a controlled environment, scientists aim to elucidate its mechanistic role in splicing and its potential as a therapeutic target. The insights gained from these studies could lead to better understanding of splicing-related disorders and pave the way for novel interventions in diseases where SLU7 function is compromised.
