  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

TBC1D26 is a member of the TBC (Tre-2/Bub2/CAA1) domain-containing protein family, which is implicated in various cellular processes, including membrane trafficking and regulation of small GTPases. This protein has recently gained attention due to its potential role in intracellular signaling pathways and its association with cellular functions such as autophagy and vesicle transport. Research has indicated that TBC1D26 may be involved in modulating the activity of Rab GTPases, which are crucial for the regulation of vesicular transport. Abnormalities in TBC1D26 function have been linked to several diseases, including cancer and neurodegenerative disorders, highlighting its relevance in human health. Moreover, understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying TBC1D26's action could provide insights into novel therapeutic strategies for conditions where vesicle trafficking is disrupted. Consequently, the study of recombinant TBC1D26 protein is essential for elucidating its biochemical properties, interaction partners, and role in cellular dynamics, paving the way for further research into its biomedical implications.
