简介
Interleukin-17 receptor D (IL-17RD) also known as Sef (similar expression to fibroblast growth factor), is a type I transmembrane protein that can regulate several signaling pathways. Within the cell, IL-17RD expression has been localized mainly to the plasma membrane. IL-17RD is a feedback inhibitor of fibroblast growth factor (FGF) signaling[1]. IL-17RD Protein, Canine (HEK293, His) is produced in HEK293 cells with a His-Terminal Fc-tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
IL-17RD, also known as IL-17 receptor D, is a member of the IL-17 receptor family that has garnered significant attention in immunology research due to its role in mediating inflammatory responses and its potential implications in various diseases, including autoimmune disorders, cancer, and infections. This protein is known to interact with various cytokines, particularly those involved in the IL-17 signaling pathway, which plays a critical role in the regulation of immune responses and inflammation. Research has shown that IL-17RD can modulate the activity of other IL-17 receptors and influence the expression of pro-inflammatory cytokines, thereby impacting the severity of diseases characterized by excessive inflammation. Furthermore, studies have indicated that IL-17RD may serve as a biomarker for certain disease states and could be a potential therapeutic target for modulating immune responses. The development of recombinant IL-17RD proteins has facilitated a deeper understanding of its functional roles and mechanisms of action. Ongoing research aims to elucidate the pathways involved in IL-17RD signaling and its interactions with other immune components, which may lead to novel therapeutic strategies targeting inflammatory and autoimmune diseases. Overall, the study of IL-17RD continues to be a promising area of investigation, offering insights into the complex network of immune regulation and the potential development of targeted therapies.
