稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
IL-18R alpha, a crucial component of the interleukin-18 receptor complex, plays a significant role in the immune response by mediating the effects of IL-18, a pro-inflammatory cytokine. This receptor is primarily expressed on immune cells, including T cells and natural killer (NK) cells, and is pivotal for driving Th1 and cytotoxic T cell responses. Dysregulation of IL-18 and its receptor has been implicated in various diseases, including autoimmune disorders, chronic inflammation, and cancer, making it a potential target for therapeutic intervention. Research into recombinant IL-18R alpha protein aims to enhance our understanding of its signaling pathways, regulatory mechanisms, and interactions with other cytokines and receptors. By studying IL-18R alpha as a recombinant protein, scientists can investigate its role in cytokine signaling, explore its potential as a biomarker for disease progression, and assess its value in therapeutic strategies, including engineered biological therapies. This line of research not only sheds light on the fundamental mechanisms of immune regulation but also opens avenues for developing novel treatments to modulate immune responses in various pathological conditions, thereby contributing to improved patient outcomes in diseases where IL-18 signaling is disrupted.
