简介
IL-7 protein is an important hematopoietic cytokine that is essential for the development, expansion and survival of T cells and B cells, regulating mature lymphocyte populations and maintaining lymphatic homeostasis. IL-7 interacts with IL7RA and CSF2RG subunits, activates kinases, including JAK1 or JAK3, and initiates signaling cascades, such as the PI3K/Akt/mTOR or JAK-STAT5 pathway. IL-7 Protein, Human (HEK293, His) is the recombinant human-derived IL-7 protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-6*His labeled tag.

生物活性
1.The cell proliferation assay using PHA-activated human peripheral blood lymphocytes has an ED50 value of 50-300 pg/mL. 2. Mouse IL-7RA-Fc can bind Human IL-7-His with an affinity constant of 29.0 nM as determined in BLI assay. 3. Measured in a cell proliferation assay using HT-2 mouse T lymphocyte cells. The ED50 this effect is 0.4-2.0 ng/mL. 4. Measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA. Immobilized Human IL-7 at 2 μg/mL (100 μL/well) can bind Biotinylated Human IL-7R alpha. The ED50 for this effect is 15.64 ng/mL. 1.The cell proliferation assay using PHA-activated human peripheral blood lymphocytes has an ED50 value of 50-300 pg/mL. Mouse IL-7RA-Fc can bind Human IL-7-His with an affinity constant of 29.0 nM. 2. Measured in a cell proliferation assay using HT-2 mouse T lymphocyte cells. The ED50 this effect is 1.822 ng/mL, corresponding to a specific activity is 5.489×105 units/mg.

稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Interleukin-7 (IL-7) is a crucial cytokine involved in the development, survival, and maintenance of T and B lymphocytes, playing a vital role in the immune system. Research on recombinant IL-7 protein has gained significant attention due to its potential therapeutic applications in immunodeficiency disorders, such as HIV/AIDS, and in enhancing anti-tumor immunity in cancer treatments. In the context of HIV, IL-7 can stimulate the proliferation of T-cells, potentially restoring immune function in infected individuals. Moreover, studies suggest that IL-7 may aid in expanding T-cell populations, which is essential for effective vaccine responses and for improving overall immune surveillance against tumors. The recombinant form of IL-7 can be produced using various expression systems, allowing for large-scale production and facilitating its use in clinical settings. Additionally, ongoing research is investigating the safety, dosage, and efficacy of IL-7 in combination therapies for both immunotherapy and regenerative medicine. Understanding the mechanisms by which IL-7 regulates lymphocyte homeostasis and function will not only enhance our knowledge of immune system dynamics but also pave the way for innovative strategies to harness its properties for therapeutic benefit.
