Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
ABI2 (Abelson interactor 2) is a protein involved in various cellular processes, particularly in the regulation of actin cytoskeleton dynamics and cellular signaling pathways. It has garnered interest in the field of cancer research due to its potential role in tumor progression and metastasis. Studies have shown that ABI2 interacts with several key signaling molecules, including those in the Rho GTPase family, which are crucial for cell motility and morphology. Given its involvement in crucial cellular functions, the characterization and functional analysis of ABI2, particularly in its recombinant form, have become essential for understanding its biological roles and regulatory mechanisms. The production of recombinant ABI2 allows for detailed biophysical and biochemical characterization, facilitating studies on its interactions with other proteins and cellular partners. Investigating ABI2's structure-function relationships through recombinant approaches can provide insights into its role in pathophysiological conditions, making it a promising target for therapeutic interventions in diseases where actin dynamics and related signaling pathways are disrupted. Overall, the study of ABI2 as a recombinant protein is vital for elucidating its contributions to cellular processes and its potential implications in cancer biology.
