Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PLA2G4A, or Phospholipase A2 Group IVA, is a critical enzyme involved in the hydrolysis of phospholipids, leading to the generation of free fatty acids and lysolipids, which play vital roles in various physiological and pathological processes, including inflammation, cell growth, and apoptosis. Given its pivotal role in mediating cellular responses, PLA2G4A has attracted significant attention in biomedical research, particularly in the context of inflammatory diseases, cancer, and neurodegenerative disorders. The recombinant expression of PLA2G4A facilitates the study of its enzymatic properties, regulatory mechanisms, and interactions with other cellular components. Moreover, the availability of the recombinant protein enables researchers to investigate its potential as a therapeutic target and biomarker for various diseases. Recent advances in recombinant DNA technology have allowed for the production of active and stable forms of PLA2G4A, which can be utilized in both in vitro and in vivo studies. Understanding the structure-function relationship of this enzyme through the use of recombinant proteins can provide deeper insights into its biological role and therapeutic potential. Thus, the study of PLA2G4A recombinant protein serves as a foundational step toward developing innovative strategies for treating diseases linked to dysregulated phospholipid metabolism.
