稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
INMT (Indolethylamine N-methyltransferase) is an enzyme involved in the biosynthesis of important biomolecules, particularly in the methylation of indole derivatives. This enzyme plays a crucial role in the metabolic pathway of tryptamine and other related compounds, which are significant in various physiological processes, including neurotransmission, hormonal regulation, and the immune response. Research into INMT has gained momentum due to its potential implications in neuropharmacology and psychiatry, as altered levels of indoleamines have been linked to mood disorders, schizophrenia, and other psychiatric conditions. Furthermore, INMT's involvement in the metabolism of psychoactive substances has attracted interest in the fields of toxicology and pharmacology. Recombining INMT has allowed scientists to generate modified forms of the enzyme, enhancing our understanding of its function and regulation. This research not only contributes to our fundamental knowledge of metabolic processes but also opens pathways for the development of novel therapeutics targeting metabolic dysregulation associated with various diseases. The study of recombinant INMT provides insights into its structural characteristics, substrate specificity, and catalytic mechanisms, paving the way for potential applications in biotechnology and medicine. As the understanding of INMT evolves, potential avenues for therapeutic intervention may emerge, emphasizing the significance of this enzyme in both health and disease.
