Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PXMP3 (Peroxisomal Membrane Protein 3) is a crucial component of the peroxisomal membrane and plays an essential role in peroxisome biogenesis and function. Peroxisomes are organelles involved in various metabolic processes, including lipid metabolism and the detoxification of reactive oxygen species. Abnormalities in PXMP3 expression or function have been linked to a range of metabolic disorders and neurodegenerative diseases. Research into the PXMP3 protein involves understanding its structure, membrane localization, and interactions with other proteins that facilitate peroxisome assembly and maintenance. Advances in recombinant protein technology enable the production of PXMP3 in heterologous systems, allowing detailed biochemical and biophysical characterization of its functions. Such studies are critical for uncovering the mechanisms underlying peroxisomal diseases and may aid in the development of therapeutic strategies targeting these metabolic pathways. Understanding the role of PXMP3 in cellular metabolism not only provides insight into fundamental biological processes but also holds potential for novel treatments for diseases associated with peroxisomal dysfunction.
