Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
The study of ALPI (Alkaline Phosphatase, Intestinal) recombinant protein is pivotal due to its vital role in various physiological processes, including nutrient absorption and digestion in the intestinal tract. As a hydrolase enzyme, ALPI catalyzes the hydrolysis of phosphate esters, contributing to the dephosphorylation of various substrates in the intestine. Its importance extends beyond digestion, as ALPI is implicated in several health conditions, including inflammatory bowel diseases and liver dysfunction. Researchers are increasingly focusing on ALPI's recombinant form to enhance its availability and study its molecular properties, potential therapeutic applications, and interactions with other biomolecules. By producing ALPI as a recombinant protein in model organisms or expression systems, scientists can obtain large quantities of this enzyme for detailed biochemical analysis, structural studies, and potential therapeutic uses. Understanding ALPI at a molecular level not only aids in illuminating its physiological roles but also opens avenues for drug development and the design of targeted treatments for related gastrointestinal disorders. This growing interest in ALPI underscores the significance of recombinant protein technology in advancing the field of gastrointestinal research and therapeutic interventions.
