Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
C20orf114, also known by its gene name, is a relatively less characterized protein that has gained attention in recent years due to its potential implications in various biological processes and diseases. Located on chromosome 20, C20orf114 has been implicated in cellular functions such as signal transduction, cellular differentiation, and immune responses. Preliminary studies suggest that alterations in the expression or function of C20orf114 may be associated with certain cancers and autoimmune disorders, making it a candidate for further exploration in both basic and applied biomedical research. The creation of recombinant C20orf114 protein presents a valuable opportunity to dissect its structural features and functional roles. By employing techniques like recombinant DNA technology, researchers can produce this protein for functional assays, investigations into protein-protein interactions, and receptor binding studies. Understanding the characteristics and mechanisms of C20orf114 could provide insights into its role in pathophysiology and highlight its potential as a therapeutic target or biomarker. Given the limited existing knowledge surrounding C20orf114, research efforts focused on recombinant protein expression, purification, and characterization are crucial for elucidating its biological significance.
