Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CEECAM1, or Carcinoembryonic Antigen-Related Cell Adhesion Molecule 1, is a member of the CEACAM family, which plays a significant role in cellular adhesion and signaling. It is primarily expressed in epithelial tissues and has been implicated in various physiological and pathological processes, including cancer progression, immune response modulation, and cell differentiation. Research has shown that CEECAM1 is involved in tumorigenesis, contributing to the metastatic potential of cancer cells by facilitating cell-cell interactions and influencing immune evasion. The study of CEECAM1 as a recombinant protein is crucial for understanding its structural and functional properties, as well as its potential as a therapeutic target. By producing CEECAM1 as a recombinant protein, researchers can conduct detailed investigations into its binding characteristics, interactions with other biomolecules, and role in cellular pathways. Furthermore, the recombinant form allows for the development of specific antibodies or inhibitors that may have diagnostic or therapeutic applications in oncology and immunology. As the scientific community continues to explore CEECAM1's multifaceted role in disease, its study as a recombinant protein promises to provide valuable insights that could lead to novel treatment strategies.
