Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
THOC5, or THO Complex Subunit 5, is a crucial component of the THO complex, which plays a significant role in mRNA biogenesis and the efficient export of mRNA from the nucleus to the cytoplasm. Research into THOC5 has gained prominence due to its essential functions in the post-transcriptional regulation of gene expression and its implications in various cellular processes. Mutations or dysregulation of THOC5 have been linked to several diseases, including neurodegenerative disorders and cancers, making it a target of interest for therapeutic interventions. The understanding of THOC5's structure and function, particularly through the study of its recombinant protein, can provide deeper insights into the molecular mechanisms underpinning mRNA metabolism and cytoplasmic transport. This knowledge could facilitate the development of novel strategies for addressing diseases associated with mRNA processing defects. Furthermore, elucidating the interactions between THOC5 and other components of the mRNA export machinery could offer new avenues for research in gene regulation and cellular response to stress. As such, the study of THOC5 recombinant protein encompasses both fundamental biological research and the potential for clinical applications, highlighting its significance in molecular biology and medicine.
