简介
FKBP2 protein plays a central role in the complex process of protein folding and is an important peptidyl prolyl cis-trans isomerase (PPIase). Its unique ability to catalyze the cis-trans isomerization of proline imide peptide bonds accelerates dynamic conformational changes that are critical for efficient protein folding. FKBP2 Protein, Human (HEK293, His) is the recombinant human-derived FKBP2 protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-6*His labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
FKBP2, a member of the FK506-binding protein family, plays a crucial role in protein folding, trafficking, and cellular signaling, particularly in the context of immune response and stress management. Research into FKBP2 has gained momentum due to its potential implications in various diseases, including cancer, neurodegenerative disorders, and autoimmune conditions. The protein acts as a peptidyl-prolyl isomerase, which means it facilitates the cis-trans isomerization of proline residues in polypeptides, thereby influencing protein conformation and function. Moreover, FKBP2 is involved in the regulation of key signaling pathways, such as those mediated by steroid hormones and growth factors, contributing to cellular homeostasis. The development of recombinant FKBP2 has enabled researchers to explore its structural properties and functional mechanisms more comprehensively. By employing techniques like molecular cloning and expression systems, scientists can produce large quantities of this protein for functional assays and biochemical studies. Understanding the precise roles of FKBP2 in cellular processes may lead to novel therapeutic strategies targeting its interactions in disease-related pathways, offering hope for the development of new treatments for conditions where FKBP2 is implicated. Additionally, given its role in the folding of newly synthesized proteins and interactions with other cellular components, FKBP2 serves as a valuable model for studying protein dynamics and the cellular response to stress, thereby broadening our understanding of cellular biology and potential intervention points in various diseases.
