  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

The CXADR protein, also known as coxsackievirus and adenovirus receptor, plays a critical role in viral pathogenesis and cellular signaling. It serves as a receptor for both coxsackieviruses and adenoviruses, facilitating viral entry into host cells and contributing to the diseases associated with these viruses. Research on CXADR has gained traction due to its implications in various pathological conditions, including heart disease and viral infections. The significance of CXADR extends beyond virology, as it is involved in cellular processes such as proliferation, adhesion, and apoptosis, making it a candidate for therapeutic interventions. Recent studies have focused on the molecular mechanisms underlying CXADR interactions, its structural properties, and the potential for targeting CXADR in antiviral therapies. Additionally, the recombinant expression of CXADR provides insights into its functional domains and aids in the development of vaccines or antibodies. Understanding the biology of CXADR and its interactions offers potential avenues for treating diseases caused by viral pathogens and may lead to advancements in both virology and molecular medicine.
