Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
FAS ligand (FASLG) is a crucial membrane-bound protein involved in the regulation of apoptosis, a process essential for maintaining cellular homeostasis and immune system function. The FAS-FASLG interaction triggers apoptotic signaling in FAS-expressing cells, playing a significant role in immune responses and the elimination of defective cells. Dysregulation of this pathway is associated with various pathologies, including autoimmune diseases, cancer, and transplant rejection. Given its potential as a therapeutic target, recombinant FASLG proteins have gained interest for their applications in immunotherapy and cancer treatment, providing insights into tailored approaches for manipulating immune responses. Researchers are focused on understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying FASLG function and exploring the efficacy of engineered forms of this protein to enhance its stability, activity, and specificity. Advances in recombinant protein technology allow for the production of FASLG variants with improved characteristics, paving the way for innovative therapeutic strategies that harness its apoptotic signaling capabilities. As the understanding of FASLG continues to grow, it holds promise not only for treating malignancies but also for developing novel immunomodulatory therapies aimed at restoring immune balance in various diseases.
