Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
EBI3 (Epstein-Barr virus-induced gene 3) is a crucial component of the IL-27 cytokine family, playing a significant role in the immune response and inflammation regulation. It forms a heterodimer with IL-12p35 to produce the bioactive cytokine IL-27, which is known for its ability to modulate T cell differentiation, particularly in promoting the development of Th1 and inhibiting Th2 responses. Given its critical function in immune modulation, EBI3 has garnered attention in various research areas, including cancer immunotherapy, autoimmune diseases, and infectious diseases. Studies have shown that EBI3 can influence the tumor microenvironment, affecting the remodeling of immune cell populations and the overall anti-tumor response. Consequently, the recombinant production of EBI3 has become an area of intense investigation aimed at understanding its biological functions and therapeutic potential. Researchers are exploring the use of EBI3-based reagents for therapeutic applications, including enhancing anti-tumor immunity and developing novel treatments for chronic inflammatory conditions. The recombinant protein’s structural and functional characterization, along with its interactions with other cytokines and immune cells, remains a focal point of current studies, aiming to unlock its potential in both basic research and clinical applications.
