Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
RAD54B is a member of the RAD54 family of proteins, which are crucial for the homologous recombination (HR) repair pathway of DNA double-strand breaks. This pathway is essential for maintaining genomic stability and integrity in eukaryotic cells. RAD54B, in particular, is known to facilitate the search for homologous sequences during DNA repair, promote strand invasion, and help in the remodeling of DNA structures. Dysregulation or mutation of RAD54B has been associated with various cancers, highlighting its importance in tumorigenesis and the development of therapeutic resistance. Furthermore, RAD54B interacts with several proteins involved in DNA repair and cell cycle regulation, indicating its role as a key player in these complex cellular processes. Recent studies have aimed to elucidate the precise mechanisms by which RAD54B contributes to HR and to investigate its potential as a target for cancer therapy. Understanding the functional dynamics of RAD54B not only provides insights into the molecular basis of DNA repair but also opens avenues for novel treatment strategies in cancer, potentially improving outcomes for patients with RAD54B-related malignancies.
