Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
C20orf23, also known as Chromosome 20 Open Reading Frame 23, is a relatively uncharacterized protein that has garnered interest in recent research due to its potential roles in various biological processes and diseases. This protein is located on chromosome 20, and preliminary studies suggest it may be involved in cellular functions such as cell proliferation, apoptosis, and response to stress, although its exact role remains largely unexplored. The need for further investigation into C20orf23 is underscored by its possible implications in cancer biology, as aberrations in transcription or expression levels may contribute to tumorigenesis. Moreover, understanding the structural characteristics and functional dynamics of C20orf23 through recombinant protein studies is critical for delineating its biological significance. Recombinant protein technology offers a robust platform for producing C20orf23 in a controlled manner, enabling researchers to conduct functional assays, identify interacting partners, and elucidate its mechanisms of action. This research could unveil novel therapeutic targets or biomarkers for disease management, particularly in oncology and other diseases where C20orf23 expression may be altered. Overall, the characterization of C20orf23 and its recombinant protein could pave the way for new insights into its biological role and potential clinical applications.
