Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
C22orf1, also known as FLJ20440, is a gene located on chromosome 22 that encodes a protein of unknown function, which has attracted increasing interest in recent years. Research has indicated that C22orf1 may play a role in various biological processes, including cell proliferation, differentiation, and apoptosis. As a member of a family of proteins, C22orf1 possesses several conserved domains, hinting at its potential involvement in critical cellular functions. The understanding of C22orf1's role has been further propelled by its association with certain diseases, particularly cancers, where it may be implicated in tumor progression and metastasis. To explore its biochemical properties and functional significance, the production of recombinant C22orf1 protein has been undertaken. This enables researchers to elucidate its structure, interaction with other biomolecules, and potential regulatory pathways. The recombinant protein serves as a valuable tool in biochemical assays, providing insights into its physiological roles and therapeutic potential. Investigating C22orf1 in the context of disease mechanisms may uncover novel targets for intervention and contribute to the development of new diagnostic or therapeutic strategies. Thus, comprehensive studies of C22orf1 and its recombinant form are crucial for advancing our understanding of its biological implications and potential relevance in health and disease.
