Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
C2orf42, also known as chromosome 2 open reading frame 42, has gained attention in recent years due to its potential implications in various biological processes and diseases. Located on chromosome 2, C2orf42 is a protein-coding gene that is thought to play a role in cellular functions, although its exact mechanisms remain largely elusive. Research has suggested a possible association between C2orf42 and conditions such as cancer, neurodegenerative diseases, and developmental disorders, prompting a deeper investigation into its physiological roles. The recombinant expression of C2orf42 is essential for understanding its structure, function, and interactions with other cellular components. By producing C2orf42 as a recombinant protein, researchers can study its biochemical properties and elucidate its biological pathways. This research not only contributes to the fundamental understanding of this protein but may also pave the way for novel therapeutic strategies targeting C2orf42-related diseases. As the scientific community continues to explore the functions of C2orf42, insights derived from recombinant studies could eventually lead to breakthroughs in understanding the molecular basis of the diseases associated with this gene.
