Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CALHM3 (Calcium Homeostasis Modulator 3) is a recently identified protein that plays a significant role in the modulation of calcium influx and its subsequent impact on cellular signaling pathways. Research into CALHM3 has gained momentum due to its potential implications in various physiological and pathological processes, including neurodegenerative diseases and metabolic disorders. As a member of the CALHM family, CALHM3 is involved in the regulation of ion channels, influencing neuronal excitability and synaptic transmission. Studies have shown that alterations in CALHM3 expression or function can lead to dysregulated calcium homeostasis, which is linked to the pathogenesis of conditions such as Alzheimer's disease and type 2 diabetes. Recent advances in structural biology and proteomics have facilitated the development of recombinant CALHM3 proteins, enabling researchers to investigate their functional properties and interactions with other cellular components. By producing and characterizing CALHM3 as a recombinant protein, scientists aim to elucidate its precise role in calcium signaling and explore its therapeutic potential in targeting calcium-related diseases. This research not only enhances our understanding of calcium regulation in health and disease but also paves the way for developing novel strategies for the treatment of chronic conditions associated with disrupted calcium homeostasis.
