Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CCDC53 (Coiled-Coil Domain Containing 53) is a protein that has gained attention in recent years due to its potential functions in cellular processes and disease mechanisms. Research has indicated that CCDC53 plays a crucial role in cilia formation and maintenance, which are essential for various cellular signaling pathways and developmental processes. Disruptions in cilia function are linked to a range of disorders known as ciliopathies, including Bardet-Biedl syndrome and Joubert syndrome. The importance of CCDC53 in these pathways has spurred interest in studying its structure and function. Recombinant CCDC53 protein can be expressed and purified for detailed biochemical studies, allowing researchers to explore its protein interactions, post-translational modifications, and functional assays. Understanding the molecular mechanisms involving CCDC53 may provide insights into its role in ciliary biology and the pathogenesis of related diseases, ultimately leading to innovative therapeutic strategies. Additionally, the recombinant protein serves as a valuable tool for screening small molecule inhibitors or enhancers that could modulate its function in cellular contexts, contributing to the broader field of drug discovery and development.
