  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

CUL4A (Cullin 4A) is a key component of the cullin-RING ligase (CRL) family, playing a vital role in ubiquitin-mediated protein degradation, a fundamental cellular process that regulates various biological activities, including cell cycle progression, DNA repair, and differentiation. Abnormal regulation of CUL4A has been implicated in several cancers, making it a significant target for therapeutic intervention. Research into CUL4A has gained traction due to its involvement in critical cellular processes and its potential as a biomarker or therapeutic target in malignancies. The study of recombinant CUL4A proteins allows for a detailed investigation of its biochemical properties, interaction with other molecular partners, and the mechanisms underlying its role in the ubiquitin-proteasome system. By utilizing techniques such as protein expression in host systems, purification, and functional assays, researchers aim to elucidate the structural and functional characteristics of CUL4A, providing insights into its pathways and regulatory mechanisms. Understanding CUL4A's role at the molecular level can pave the way for developing novel strategies to modulate its activity in disease contexts, thus highlighting the importance of recombinant CUL4A protein studies in advancing cancer research and treatment approaches.
