Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PNKP (Polynucleotide Kinase 3'-Phosphatase) is a crucial enzyme involved in DNA repair and RNA metabolism, playing a significant role in maintaining genomic stability. Mutations in the PNKP gene are associated with several neurological disorders, including Aicardi-Goutières syndrome and microcephaly, highlighting its importance in neurodevelopmental processes. Research into PNKP recombinant proteins has become increasingly significant as scientists aim to understand the enzyme’s structural and functional properties. By utilizing heterologous expression systems, researchers can produce purified PNKP proteins for in-depth studies, enabling them to analyze the enzyme’s activity, stability, and interactions with other biomolecules. Such investigations are essential for deciphering the molecular mechanisms behind PNKP's role in the DNA damage response and cellular reprogramming. Additionally, characterizing PNKP can offer insights into potential therapeutic strategies for conditions linked to its dysfunction, paving the way for new approaches in treating neurodevelopmental disorders and age-related diseases. The ongoing research is opening avenues for innovative treatments that could mitigate the consequences of PNKP-related pathologies, ultimately contributing to advancements in gene therapy and regenerative medicine.
