Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
DAZ1 (Deleted in Azoospermia 1) is a gene located on the Y chromosome, primarily implicated in male fertility. It encodes a protein crucial for spermatogenesis, playing a pivotal role in the development of male germ cells. Research has shown that mutations or deletions in the DAZ1 gene can lead to azoospermia or oligospermia, conditions characterized by a lack of sperm production or lower sperm count, respectively. This highlights the significance of DAZ1 in reproductive health and fertility treatments. Additionally, DAZ1 is part of a larger gene family known as the DAZ-like (DAZL) genes, which are involved in gametogenesis in both males and females. The study of DAZ1 and its protein product has gained momentum due to advancements in molecular biology techniques, enabling researchers to explore its mechanisms of action and interactions at a cellular level. Understanding the function of DAZ1 may contribute to the development of diagnostic tools for infertility and novel therapeutic strategies for patients with male-factor infertility. Furthermore, the exploration of the DAZ1 protein in various biological contexts can shed light on evolutionary aspects of reproduction and aid in the understanding of related genetic conditions. As research progresses, elucidating the role of DAZ1 and its protein forms in spermatogenesis and fertility will remain a critical area of focus in reproductive biology, with potential implications for genetic counseling and assisted reproductive technologies.
