Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
DHTKD1, or Dihydrotachysterol-Kinase Domain-containing protein 1, is a relatively recently identified protein implicated in various cellular processes, particularly in the context of mitochondrial function and metabolism. Its role has garnered attention due to its association with specific genetic disorders, including neurological conditions. Research has indicated that mutations in the DHTKD1 gene can lead to disruptions in mitochondrial energy production, potentially resulting in a spectrum of clinical manifestations. The study of recombinant DHTKD1 proteins aims to elucidate the structure-function relationship of this protein, enhancing our understanding of its biological roles. Furthermore, the generation of recombinant DHTKD1 allows for detailed biochemical analyses and the exploration of potential interactions with other cellular components. As the understanding of mitochondrial dysfunction in diseases expands, the investigation of DHTKD1's function is critical, as it may reveal new therapeutic targets and strategies. The expression and purification of DHTKD1 as a recombinant protein facilitate advanced studies that contribute to the broader field of mitochondrial research, potentially guiding interventions for conditions linked to DHTKD1 anomalies. Overall, understanding the dynamics of DHTKD1 on a molecular level is vital for developing insights into its contribution to human health and disease.
