简介
NOTCH1 Protein acts as a receptor for membrane-bound ligands (JAG1, JAG2, and DLL1), determining cell fate.Upon activation, NICD forms a transcriptional activator complex, influencing differentiation, proliferation, and apoptosis.NOTCH1 negatively regulates angiogenesis, endothelial cell behavior, and impacts various developmental processes. It interacts with multiple partners, illustrating its involvement in signaling networks.NOTCH1 Protein, Mouse (sf9, His) is the recombinant mouse-derived NOTCH1 protein, expressed by Sf9 insect cells , with C-His labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
NOTCH1 is a crucial membrane receptor in the Notch signaling pathway, which plays a significant role in various cellular processes, including cell differentiation, proliferation, and apoptosis. Abnormalities in NOTCH1 signaling have been implicated in several diseases, particularly in various cancers, including T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (T-ALL). The study of NOTCH1 and its active forms has gained attention as researchers aim to understand its molecular mechanisms and potential therapeutic targets. Recombinant NOTCH1 proteins are essential tools for investigating the structure-function relationship of the receptor, enabling researchers to explore its interactions with ligands, downstream signaling molecules, and other cellular components. The generation of these recombinant proteins allows for in-depth studies of NOTCH1’s role in cell fate decisions and its dysregulation in cancer. Additionally, characterizing NOTCH1 activity through recombinant proteins can facilitate the development of targeted therapies, offering new avenues for treatment strategies in malignancies associated with NOTCH1 mutations. As such, the continued exploration of NOTCH1 recombinant proteins holds promise for uncovering novel insights into its biology and therapeutic potential.
