简介
The LILRB5/CD85c/LIR-8 protein functions as a receptor for class I MHC antigens, suggesting a critical role in immune recognition and regulation. Its interaction with MHC class I molecules suggests involvement in surveillance and may influence immune responses. LILRB5/CD85c/LIR-8 Protein, Human (433a.a, HEK293, His) is the recombinant human-derived LILRB5/CD85c/LIR-8 protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-6*His labeled tag.

稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
LILRB5, also known as CD85c or LIR-8, is a member of the leukocyte Ig-like receptor (LIR) family, which plays a crucial role in immune regulation. It is primarily expressed on various immune cells, including monocytes, dendritic cells, and T cells, where it serves as an inhibitory receptor that modulates immune responses. The study of LILRB5 is significant due to its potential impact on both innate and adaptive immunity, particularly in the context of autoimmune diseases, infections, and cancer. Research has shown that LILRB5 interacts with MHC class I molecules, contributing to the negative regulation of immune activation and promoting immune tolerance. Understanding the signaling pathways and functional mechanisms associated with LILRB5 is essential for developing therapeutic strategies aimed at enhancing immune responses in cancer immunotherapy or inhibiting unwanted inflammation in autoimmune disorders. The recombinant expression of LILRB5 protein facilitates detailed biochemical and structural studies, providing insights into its ligand interactions and inhibitory functions. Overall, the investigation of LILRB5/CD85c/LIR-8 represents a promising area of research with significant implications for immunology and therapeutic interventions.
