简介
FGL1 protein is the main ligand of LAG3 and can inhibit antigen-specific T cell activation, mediating the inhibitory function of LAG3 independently of MHC-II binding. FGL1 is secreted by liver cells and contributes to their growth. FGL1 Protein, Human (HEK293, mFc, solution) is the recombinant human-derived FGL1 protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-mFc labeled tag.

稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
FGL1, or Fibrinogen-like protein 1, is a member of the fibrinogen-related protein family that plays a crucial role in various biological processes, including immunoregulation, inflammation, and tumor progression. It has garnered significant attention in recent years due to its dual function in modulating both immune responses and tumor microenvironments. Elevated FGL1 expression has been correlated with poor prognosis in several types of cancer, suggesting its potential as a biomarker for disease progression and a target for therapeutic intervention. Research has shown that FGL1 can inhibit T cell activation and promote immune evasion by tumors, highlighting its role in the suppression of anti-tumor immunity. Moreover, FGL1 has been implicated in facilitating tumor growth and metastatic spread. Consequently, the development of FGL1 recombinant proteins aims to elucidate its mechanisms of action, assess its functional characteristics, and explore its potential in clinical applications, particularly in oncology and immunotherapy. By gaining a deeper understanding of FGL1's role in immune modulation and tumor dynamics, researchers hope to harness its properties for novel therapeutic strategies, enhancing the efficacy of existing treatments and improving patient outcomes. This background lays the foundation for ongoing studies focusing on FGL1's interactions within the immune system, its structural and functional properties, and the feasibility of targeting FGL1 in therapeutic contexts.
