简介
PD-L2 Protein, operating independently of PDCD1, plays a vital role in T-cell proliferation and IFNG production. Its interaction with PDCD1 inhibits proliferation and cytokine production. The interplay between PD-L2 and PDCD1 regulates immune responses, influencing T-cell activation and function. This molecular interaction adds complexity to mechanisms governing T-cell behavior, highlighting PD-L2's versatile role in immune regulation. PD-L2 Protein, Human (HEK293, His) is the recombinant human-derived PD-L2 protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-His labeled tag.

生物活性
1.Measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA. Immobilized human PD-L2 at 2 μg/mL(100 μl/well) can bind human PD-1, the EC50 of human PD-1 is 150-800 ng/mL. 2.Measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA. When Recombinant Human PD-L2 is coated at 1 μg/mL (100 μL/well) can bind Recombinant Human PD-1 (HY-P73344). The ED50 for this effect is ≤0.5 μg/mL. Measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA. When Recombinant Human PD-L2 is coated at 1 μg/mL (100 μL/well) can bind Recombinant Human PD-1 (HY-P73344). The ED50 for this effect is 0.369 μg/mL.

稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PD-L2 (Programmed Death-Ligand 2) is a crucial immune checkpoint protein that plays a significant role in modulating the immune response, particularly in the context of cancer and autoimmune diseases. As a ligand for the PD-1 receptor, PD-L2 helps to inhibit T-cell activation and proliferation, thereby contributing to immune tolerance and the prevention of excessive tissue damage. The understanding of PD-L2's function has become increasingly relevant with the rise of immunotherapy, where inhibiting PD-1 or its ligands can enhance the body's immune response against tumors. Research into PD-L2, particularly in the development of recombinant proteins, has gained momentum as scientists aim to elucidate its structural and functional properties, which can lead to novel therapeutic approaches. Recombinant PD-L2 proteins are being studied for their potential use as biomarkers for immune status, as well as their ability to serve as targets for antibody-based therapies. Additionally, investigating PD-L2 interactions may provide insight into the mechanisms of immune evasion in cancers, enabling the design of more effective immunotherapeutic strategies. Overall, the study of PD-L2 recombinant proteins is a promising area of research that can contribute significantly to advances in cancer treatment and the understanding of immune regulation.
