简介
IL-4R alpha is a subunit alpha shared by IL-4 and IL-13 receptors, found in leukocytes originally. IL-4R alpha couples to the JAK1/2/3-STAT6 pathway and involves in promoting Th2 differentiation[1]. IL-4R alpha/CD124, Cynomolgus consists of 825 amino acids (M1-S825). IL-4R alpha/CD124 Protein, Cynomolgus is produced in HEK293 cells, including a Fibronectin typr III domain (125-224 a.a) and a C-Terminal hFc-tag.

稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Interleukin-4 receptor (IL-4R) is a crucial component in the immune response, playing a pivotal role in mediating the effects of interleukin-4 (IL-4) and interleukin-13 (IL-13), both of which are key cytokines involved in allergic responses and asthma pathogenesis. The IL-4R consists of two chains: the alpha chain (IL-4Rα) and the common gamma chain (γc), which together initiate signaling pathways that lead to B cell activation, T helper 2 (Th2) cell differentiation, and macrophage polarization. Aberrations in IL-4R signaling have been linked to various allergic and inflammatory diseases, making it a significant target for therapeutic interventions. Recombinant IL-4R proteins have been developed to further elucidate their functional roles and serve as potential biotherapeutics. These proteins facilitate the study of receptor-ligand interactions and downstream signaling mechanisms, which could lead to the identification of novel therapeutic strategies for managing conditions such as asthma, chronic rhinosinusitis, and other Th2-mediated diseases. Current research aims to improve the understanding of IL-4R's structure-function relationship, its regulatory mechanisms, and potential therapeutic applications, highlighting the significance of IL-4R recombinant proteins in both basic and applied immunology.
