简介
OX40 Ligand/TNFSF4 Protein, a cytokine, binds TNFRSF4, acting as a potent T-cell co-stimulator for proliferation and cytokine production. As a homotrimer, its pivotal interaction with TNFRSF4 enhances immune response by activating and expanding T-cells. This engagement contributes to intricate regulation, making OX40 Ligand a key mediator in modulating T-cell functions for effective and controlled immune activation. OX40 Ligand/TNFSF4 Protein, Rabbit (P. pastoris, His-Myc) is the recombinant Rabbit-derived OX40 Ligand/TNFSF4 protein, expressed by P. pastoris , with C-6*His, Myc labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
OX40 Ligand (TNFSF4) is a member of the tumor necrosis factor (TNF) superfamily and plays a critical role in regulating T cell activation and survival. Its interaction with the OX40 receptor on T cells enhances their proliferation, effector function, and memory formation, making it a potential target for cancer immunotherapy and autoimmune disease treatment. OX40 Ligand is primarily expressed on antigen-presenting cells, including dendritic cells and B cells, which facilitates T cell costimulation in the immune response. Given its importance in immune modulation, recombinant OX40 Ligand/TNFSF4 trimer protein has garnered significant interest in research and therapeutic development. The trimeric form of the protein improves its biological activity and stability, allowing for more effective engagement with its receptor. Studies have demonstrated that OX40 Ligand can enhance anti-tumor immunity by promoting T cell responses and overcoming immune suppression in the tumor microenvironment. Consequently, therapeutic strategies aimed at augmenting OX40 signaling hold promise for enhancing the efficacy of cancer vaccines and immune checkpoint inhibitors. Furthermore, understanding the structural and functional characteristics of the recombinant OX40 Ligand/TNFSF4 trimer can provide insights into the design of novel immunotherapeutics. Overall, ongoing research focuses on harnessing the potential of OX40 Ligand to boost immune responses, with the goal of developing new treatment modalities for various cancers and autoimmune conditions.
