  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

Immunoglobulin J (IgJ) is a crucial component of the immune system, primarily known for its role in the formation of mucosal immunity. It is often associated with the assembly of polymeric immunoglobulins, specifically IgA and IgM, which are vital for protecting mucosal surfaces. The study of recombinant IgJ proteins has gained traction due to their potential applications in vaccine development, immunotherapy, and diagnostic tools. Understanding the structure and function of IgJ can enhance our comprehension of B cell development and mucosal immune responses. Recent advancements in biotechnology allow for the efficient production of recombinant IgJ, enabling researchers to explore its interactions with other immunoglobulins and its role in immune signaling pathways. Furthermore, recombinant IgJ could serve as a valuable tool for elucidating mechanisms of immune evasion by pathogens and developing strategies to counteract these mechanisms. As such, the research into IgJ recombinant proteins not only deepens our fundamental understanding of the immune system but also potentially paves the way for innovative therapeutic and preventive measures against various diseases, including infections and autoimmune disorders.
