  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

ROR1 (Receptor tyrosine kinase-like orphan receptor 1) is a protein predominantly expressed during embryonic development and is associated with various malignancies, including several types of cancer such as breast cancer, leukemia, and non-small cell lung cancer. Its expression in adult tissues is minimal, making it an attractive target for cancer immunotherapy. Recognized for its role in signaling pathways that control cell survival, proliferation, and differentiation, ROR1's re-emergence in cancer cells suggests a potential for tumor progression. Research into ROR1 has focused on the development of ROR1-targeted therapies, including monoclonal antibodies and CAR T-cell therapy, which aim to selectively eradicate cancer cells while sparing normal cells. The study of recombinant ROR1 proteins is pivotal in understanding its structure-function relationship and interactions with downstream signaling pathways. Such investigations not only elucidate the biological functions of ROR1 but also pave the way for novel therapeutic strategies, ultimately enhancing the efficacy and specificity of cancer treatments.
