Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
LRP-6 (Low-Density Lipoprotein Receptor-Related Protein 6) is a pivotal co-receptor in the Wnt signaling pathway, which plays a crucial role in various biological processes, including embryonic development, cell differentiation, and tissue homeostasis. Dysregulation of Wnt signaling has been implicated in a range of diseases, particularly cancers and bone disorders, making LRP-6 an important target for therapeutic intervention. Research has shown that LRP-6 interacts with Wnt ligands and facilitates the formation of the β-catenin signaling complex, thereby influencing gene expression. Recombinant LRP-6 proteins are extensively studied to elucidate the molecular mechanisms of Wnt signaling, assess their potential as biomarkers for disease, and develop novel therapeutic strategies. Recent advances in recombinant DNA technology have enabled the production of high-purity LRP-6 proteins, which can be utilized in biochemical assays and structural studies. Understanding the structure-function relationship of LRP-6 and its role in the Wnt pathway is essential for identifying new treatment avenues for Wnt-related diseases and enhancing our broader comprehension of cell signaling networks.
