Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Wnt5a, a member of the Wnt signaling pathway, has garnered significant attention due to its implications in various biological processes, including embryonic development, cell differentiation, and tissue homeostasis. Its role in cancer has become a focal point of research, as alterations in Wnt5a signaling are associated with tumor progression and metastasis in several malignancies, suggesting its potential as a biomarker or therapeutic target. The recombinant Wnt5a protein is utilized in diverse experimental models to dissect its functional roles, elucidate underlying molecular mechanisms, and explore its interactions with other signaling pathways. Researchers are particularly interested in its non-canonical Wnt signaling activities, which influence cytoskeletal rearrangements and cellular motility. Furthermore, the study of Wnt5a has expanded to investigate its involvement in stem cell regulation and immune responses, highlighting its versatility as a multifunctional glycoprotein. The generation and application of recombinant Wnt5a proteins allow for advanced studies that may lead to novel therapeutic strategies aimed at modulating its signaling in pathological conditions, thereby advancing our understanding of its complex biological roles.
