简介
IL-33 Protein is a cytokine belonging to the IL-1 superfamily. IL-33 induces helper T cells, mast cells, eosinophils and basophils to produce type 2 cytokines. IL-33 acts intracellularly as a nuclear factor and extracellularly as a cytokine. IL-33 mediates its biological effects via IL-1 receptor ST 2, activates NF-kappaB and MAP kinases, and drives production of T(H)2-associated cytokines from in vitro polarized T(H)2 cells. IL-33 Protein, Cynomolgus is the recombinant cynomolgus-derived IL-33 protein, expressed by E. coli , with tag free.

Biological Activity
Measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA. When Recombinant Cynomolgus IL-33 Protein is immobilized at 5 µg/mL (100 µL/well) can bind Recombinant Human IL1RL1 Protein. The ED50 for this effect is 55.8 ng/mL. Measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA. Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Interleukin-33 (IL-33), a member of the IL-1 family of cytokines, has gained significant attention in immunology and inflammation research due to its diverse roles in immune responses and disease pathogenesis. It acts as an alarmin, being released by damaged or necrotic cells to activate innate immune pathways, particularly promoting the activation of Th2 cells and type 2 immune responses. This immunomodulatory function makes IL-33 a key player in various pathological conditions such as allergies, asthma, and autoimmune diseases. The recombinant form of IL-33 has been developed to explore its therapeutic potential and molecular mechanisms further. Researchers are investigating its ability to modulate immune cell functions, its signaling pathways, and its interaction with other cytokines. Additionally, studies are focusing on the role of IL-33 in promoting tissue remodeling and its implications in chronic inflammation. Understanding the precise functions and mechanisms of IL-33 could pave the way for novel therapeutic strategies targeting diseases characterized by dysregulated immune responses. As research progresses, IL-33 is being evaluated not only as a potential biomarker for disease but also as a therapeutic agent, offering promise in managing a spectrum of inflammatory and allergic conditions. Thus, the recombinant IL-33 protein is a vital tool in elucidating the complexities of immune regulation and holds promise for future clinical applications.
